why vote

If I were able to vote this year I definetly would. It is really important to vote. Especially the way things have been going the past 8 years it is extremely important to vote. We really need to turn things around in our government. It has been republican for way too long and we really need to turn things around this year. The only way to do that is by voting. Voting is one of the great things about our country. It allows us to have a say in what happens in our government. So if I were able to vote I know that I definetly would vote.

what it means to be an american

An American enjoysall the benifets of living in America. Freedom! Freedom defines America We are the land of the free and the home of the brave. Americans have heritage from all around the world. Unless you are an Indian, nobody's family goes back way in time to still live in America. We are a nation of Imigrants. I myself am Spanish, Indian, Mexican, Irish, and English. But I am still a true American. I have a friend who is African-American, Hawiian, and Filipino. He is also a true American. Americans are diverse people who are all free to think, do, and believe whatever they want.
